Enora M. Merel

Real Estate, Commercial and Real Estate Litigation, Trusts and Estates, Prenuptial Agreements, Art Law

Enora Merel is a New York–based attorney with a practice spanning real estate, commercial and real estate litigation, trusts and estates, prenuptial agreements, and art law. She currently works with DiConza Larocca DiCunto & Kaplin LLP in Brooklyn, where she conducts legal research, manages all phases of discovery, drafts real estate contracts, and prepares trust and estate documents, assisting with probate and estate administration proceedings. She holds an LL.M. from Brooklyn Law School and dual master’s degrees from French universities in Business and Tax Law of the Art Market and in Public Law and Cultural Heritage Law.

Beyond her firm work, she is passionate about art, culture, and expanding access to legal support for creative communities. She volunteers as an attorney with Lawyers for the Arts, advising clients on contract and damages disputes and helping artists and galleries recover what they are owed. She serves as a member of the New York City Bar Association’s Art Law Committee, and her earlier work with the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum grounded her practice in patronage, copyright, and the international movement of art.

Outside of work, she loves to travel, cook, sail, surf, and stay active through tennis, fencing, rugby, and horseback riding. A native French speaker with working proficiency in Spanish, she's drawn to the visual arts and to the evolving legal questions at the intersection of art, heritage, and the market.
